ProxyLab is a non-profit association that promotes digital inclusion, cybersecurity awareness, AI literacy and community resilience through research, education, innovation and European cooperation.

As a Finland-based civil society organisation, ProxyLab ry supports NGOs, educational institutions, public sector actors, SMEs and European project partnerships in building stronger digital, organisational and social capacity. Our services focus on practical solutions that help organisations use data responsibly, adopt digital tools effectively, improve cyber resilience and monitor the quality and impact of their work.

MISSION

Our mission is to make digital transformation more inclusive, secure and meaningful for civil society and local communities. We believe that technology should support people, strengthen learning opportunities and help organisations create measurable social impact.

ProxyLab ry works at the intersection of data management, digital solutions, cyber security and quality monitoring. Through these areas, we help organisations improve how they plan, implement, evaluate and communicate their activities.

As a non-profit organisation, we provide support in areas such as:

  • Designing and improving digital learning environments, online courses and training platforms
  • Supporting NGOs and project teams in responsible data collection, data organisation and reporting
  • Developing practical tools for monitoring project progress, learning outcomes and stakeholder feedback
  • Creating cyber security awareness materials, workshops and capacity-building activities
  • Supporting AI literacy and responsible use of digital technologies in education, work and community settings
  • Helping European project consortia design quality assurance systems, evaluation tools and impact reports
  • Strengthening cooperation between civil society, education, SMEs and public sector stakeholders
  • Promoting accessible, inclusive and user-friendly digital participation for different target groups

IMPACT

ProxyLab ry creates impact by helping organisations move from fragmented activities to structured, evidence-based and digitally supported work. Our services help organisations understand their target groups better, improve the quality of their services and demonstrate results more clearly to partners, funders and communities.

In data management, we support organisations in transforming information into useful knowledge. This helps project teams monitor participation, evaluate progress, identify needs and make better decisions.

In digital solutions, we help organisations adopt tools and platforms that make learning, communication and cooperation more accessible. This is especially important for NGOs and educational actors that want to reach wider and more diverse communities.

In cyber security, we promote safer digital behaviour and stronger awareness of online risks. Our work helps organisations protect sensitive information, build trust with participants and reduce vulnerabilities in daily digital operations.

In quality monitoring, we help organisations collect feedback, analyse results and turn findings into concrete improvements. This supports transparency, accountability and continuous development.

Our impact includes:

  • Stronger organisational capacity for NGOs, educational actors and project partnerships
  • Better digital access and participation for learners, communities and underrepresented groups
  • Improved cyber security awareness among staff, learners, SMEs and civil society actors
  • More reliable project reporting, monitoring and evidence-based decision-making
  • Higher quality training programmes, digital materials and learning platforms
  • Clearer understanding of participant needs, stakeholder expectations and project results
  • Stronger resilience of communities and organisations facing digital, social and security-related challenges
