Cybersecurity Needs More Women – and We’re Taking Action!

Despite the rapid growth of the tech sector, women are still underrepresented in cybersecurity. Globally, less than 25% of the cybersecurity workforce are women, and the gap is even wider in Northern Europe. This is not just a question of equality

– it is a question of untapped talent, innovation, and competitiveness.

The CyberStart project, co-funded by the Interreg Central Baltic program, is changing this. We are creating 96-hour interactive, mainstreamed cybersecurity training as a new career path for women who are currently unemployed or underemployed.

This is more than a training program – it’s about empowering women to step into one of the most in-demand professions of our time.

🔹 At Proxylab ry (Finland), we are committed to supporting 30 women in building the knowledge, confidence, and skills to succeed in the cybersecurity labor market.

Enrollment for our live-training programme! 👉 The selection process will begin at the end of January 2026, so this is the moment to step forward and apply.
