Tyt\u00f6t menestyv\u00e4t poikia paremmin, tilastollisesti merkitsev\u00e4 ero on 52 pistett\u00e4 (OECD:n keskiarvo: tyt\u00f6t 30 pistett\u00e4 korkeampi).<br \/>\nKeskim\u00e4\u00e4rin 15-vuotiaat saavat matematiikassa 507 pistett\u00e4, kun OECD-maiden keskiarvo on 489 pistett\u00e4. Tyt\u00f6t menestyv\u00e4t poikia paremmin, tilastollisesti merkitsev\u00e4 ero on 6 pistett\u00e4 (OECD:n keskiarvo: 5 pistett\u00e4 enemm\u00e4n pojilla).<\/p>\n<p>Suomessa 15-vuotiaiden luonnontieteiden keskim\u00e4\u00e4r\u00e4inen suoritus on 522 pistett\u00e4, kun OECD-maiden keskiarvo on 489 pistett\u00e4. Tyt\u00f6t suoriutuvat paremmin kuin pojat, tilastollisesti merkitsev\u00e4 ero on 24 pistett\u00e4 (OECD:n keskiarvo: tyt\u00f6t suoriutuvat 2 pistett\u00e4 paremmin).<br \/>\nSosioekonominen asema selitt\u00e4\u00e4 9% lukusuorituksen vaihtelusta Suomessa (OECD:n keskiarvo: 12%).\n<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p>\nEdullisessa ja ep\u00e4edullisessa asemassa olevien oppilaiden keskim\u00e4\u00e4r\u00e4inen ero lukutaidossa on 79 pistett\u00e4, kun OECD-maiden keskiarvo on 89 pistett\u00e4.
